BIM & VDC

OlympiaTech Electric’s dedicated in-house design team utilizes the most advanced technology to help our clients increase project proficiency while staying on schedule and on budget. Our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices enable us to create better designs while reducing the time and cost of construction.

Virtual Design and Construction
VDC refers to the step-by-step process that our team follows to ensure we deliver high-quality and successful project to our clients. VDC integrates people, systems, business models, and construction practices into a cohesive and collaborative process. This process aligns the expectations of the entire project team to reduce risks to the budget and schedule that typically arise from rework. As a design-build electrical contractor, OlympiaTech utilizes VDC throughout all phases of design and construction to maximize project efficiency while enhancing our client’s overall experience and satisfaction.

Building Information Modeling
BIM is the practice of building computer-generated 3D models throughout construction and beyond. From the early design stage, through construction, and into client occupancy, we leverage BIM to ensure our projects are delivered successfully. Our BIM modeling helps empower project stakeholders through the utilization of cutting-edge technologies and model-based decision-making tools and resources. The OlympiaTech design team uses the latest software as part of our BIM platform including AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Trimble, and BluBeam, to name a few. Our designers receive ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and software advancements to deliver the most current offerings and innovations to our clients and partners
