Confidential Consulting Firm Moves to Top Floors of PwC Plaza
A New York-based professional services firm moved 700 employees to the top floors of PwC Plaza. The building was previously known as Plaza Seven Office Tower and sits atop the Radisson Blu hotel in downtown Minneapolis. The firm’s new space occupies floors 33 through 36 as well as a portion of the 28th floor. Each of the five floors has a different Minnesota theme ranging from local neighborhoods, theatre and arts, historical landmarks, nature and recreation, and historical figures such as Prince. Highlights of the newly built-out office include two rooftop decks with lounge furniture and a putting green, a high-tech café and kitchen equipped with power supply and wi-fi, an interactive, color-changing light display, modern light fixtures, standing desks, conference rooms, training room, and several collaborative spaces. The firm uses hoteling technology that allows employees to schedule their workspace for the day. Since work stations change from day-to-day, employees are assigned a locker where they store their personal belongings.
